Ringette Ontario Announces Athletes Invited to Attend Team Ontario 2027 Canada Winter Games Selection Camp 

Ontario, Canada - May 7, 2026 — A talented group of athletes from across the province have been invited to attend the Team Ontario 2027 Canada Winter Games Selection Camp, taking place May 15-17, 2026 in Ottawa, Ontario

The selection camp represents an important step in the identification process for athletes aiming to compete for Team Ontario at the 2027 Canada Winter Games. Athletes will participate in a high-performance environment where they will be evaluated on technical, tactical, and positional skills, impact and effectiveness under pressure, and physicality and compete level. 

“We are excited to bring together such a strong group of athletes from across Ontario,” said Jessica Boisvert, Head Coach of Team Ontario 2027. “This camp is an opportunity for players to showcase their abilities, compete at a high level, and take the next step in their high-performance pathway.”

The selection camp will feature on-ice sessions, off-ice testing, classroom sessions, and competitive game play, providing athletes with an opportunity to demonstrate their readiness for provincial team selection. 

Final roster selections for Team Ontario will be made following the evaluation process as the program prepares for the 2027 Canada Winter Games in Quebec City, QC from February 27 to March 6, 2027.
