2025 Ringette Ontario Championship Recap

The overarching theme of the 2025 Ringette Ontario Championship events was POSITIVITY.  Beginning with the AA Provincials through to the U12 Championships, foes on the ice became friends off the ice by trading “positivity pins” with each other.

The events season kicked off with the Ringette Ontario ‘AA’ Provincial Championships hosted by the West Ottawa Ringette Association from February 27 to March 2, featuring a total of 44 teams across U14, U16, U19, 18U, and 18+ divisions.

The final event of the season was our biggest, with the Markham-Stouffville Ringette Association welcoming 67(!) teams to the Ringette Ontario U12 Championships from April 3-6.  Teams were split between A (Tier 1 and 2), B (Tier 1 and 2), and C divisions and launched “Out of This World” at the Opening Ceremonies, where they came dressed to impress.
