Team Quote: "The Ajax Pickering U16AA Team is so excited to be heading to the CRCs as ON1 - Team Ontario. It feels like yesterday, the team was coming together for our first practice, dreaming of this opportunity. We're made up of 17 players from all over the Durham Region that have become teammates and friends both on and off the ice. It's everyone's first time attending the CRCs, but we've brought in a few players from the area that have been recently; and their memories and stories have really built our excitement for this amazing opportunity. We look forward to competing against all the top teams from across the country, a few of which we've met in regular-season tournaments. So, very excited to see them again. We are so proud to be competing as Team Ontario, Go, Team O!!!"

Team Quote: "The U16AA Burlington Ringette team has worked hard to accomplish the first-ever Burlington team to attend the Canadian Ringette Championships. The road to the Nationals was not always easy, but every player persevered through every two-hour practice, skating non-stop until sharp turns and crossovers started warming up. Each athlete had to work on their individual goals constantly, both on and off the ice. For some, this meant getting faster, improving their stamina, working on their shot and more, while others set goals as simple as doing an unassisted pull-up from the efforts of the team’s off-ice training. Off-ice training was physical and mental, where athletes participated in a series of team-building exercises throughout the year where friendships were developed, trust was established, and team bonds grew stronger. At the beginning of the year, Burlington created the motto T.R.U.S.T: (Talk, Remember, Unwavering, Secure/Solid, Together) to help remind them that Burlington ringette believes you can’t win as an individual, you have to work together to succeed as a team."
“We believe that heart is the difference between those who attempt and those who achieve.”

Team Quote: "With mostly first-year players, our team has had a remarkably successful season. We've made it to Sunday in every tournament and brought home TWO gold medals. We had a season full of off-ice team bonding activities and worked extremely hard on-ice to be only the third team ever from West Ottawa to qualify for the Canadian Ringette Championships. These players can't wait to compete on the national stage!"
